With more than two decades in the enterprise software ecosystem, Nick Gibson brings deep sector knowledge, commercial insight and a long-term mindset to his role as Country Manager for the UK & Ireland. He spent over 20 years with Unit4, where he began his career selling into higher education during the company’s early expansion in the UK. It was during this period that he first crossed paths with TechnologyOne as it was establishing its UK operations.

Around 2020, Nick joined TechnologyOne, holding senior leadership roles across higher education and local government. In 2025, he moved to Lánluas, where he now works closely with clients throughout the UK and Ireland, helping them make informed, long-term decisions around their TechnologyOne investment.

Years of experience operating in the ERP landscape have shaped how Nick approaches his work.

Patience matters, and being driven by what the client genuinely needs, not just a sales target. Our focus is on building credibility through experience, consistency and delivery.

Like every organisation, Lánluas has evolved as its global footprint has grown. Nick was appointed to further establish a local presence in the UK and Ireland, ensuring clients in the region have access to experienced, on-the-ground support.

Lánluas operates as a remote-first organisation, giving the team the autonomy to work with focus while staying closely connected to clients and colleagues. For Nick, this model supports strong, lasting relationships, with in-person time used intentionally where it adds the most impact.

On a personal level, the remote-first approach has also improved Nick’s work-life balance. With less time spent travelling, he enjoys a healthier routine, greater flexibility in his day, and the ability to step away for regular walks, a welcome change from being constantly on the road.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys pushing himself beyond his comfort zone. He makes a point of visiting a new country each year, often choosing destinations well off the tourist trail, including Cambodia, Albania and Kosovo. A standout destination he would happily return to is Vietnam, drawn by the food and the genuine warmth of the people. Looking ahead, Japan and New Zealand are on his travel wish list.

For Nick, success comes back to a set of enduring principles inspired by Andrew Carnegie: patience, surrounding yourself with great people, and consistently delivering more than expected.
